Terms And Conditions

Requests

Inquires are processed upon reception of on-line request forms, e-mailed letters, or faxes. Your inquiry will be answered within 24 hours from the moment your message is received, if not on the week-end or holiday. Messages received on week-ends or holidays are processed the first working day after. 
It is advisable to start making travel arrangements earlier than 14 days prior to the expected date of arrival to Ukraine. Although booking in advance is preferable, we will process last minute requests as well, if they are received in working hours - Monday though Friday, from 10 am till 6 pm, GMT+2.

 
Availability And Booking

Due to specifics of internal transportation system, there are time limits for booking domestic train and air tickets.
Domestic air tickets usually can be booked within 30 days prior to the flight, though some airlines can be booked earlier. Please, check with us.
Domestic train tickets can be booked within 42 days prior to the train trip. Earlier bookings for domestic train tickets are not available.
Requests for bookings received prior to availability terms will be fulfilled as soon as the tickets become available for booking.

In case the hotel you request is not available we offer alternative accommodation options in the similar price and quality range. In this case your approval is necessary for proceeding with the booking. 

 
Prices And Payments

Prices are calculated in UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia).
All the prices provided in USD (United States Dollar) are calculated according to the current National Bank of Ukraine exchange rate.
Prices include all state and local taxes.
The request total amount is shown on the payment authorization page in the both of currencies, UAH and USD. Payment cards (credit or debit cards) are billed in UAH.

Group tariffs are dispatched upon request.

Prices are subject to change. However, the UAH amounts for the confirmed bookings are not changeable, unless discussed when the booking is processed (eg some pending prices, not available at the moment of booking).

We accept Visa and MasterCard international payment cards (credit or debit cards) issued worlwide and domestic cards issued in Ukraine.
Payments can be settled on-line or as a mail-order.
Payment cards are billed in UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia). Unipress is not responsible for conversion rate deviation, caused by possible difference of official National Bank of Ukraine rate and conversion rate of Payment Systems, as well as any cardholder's bank or credit card company commissions involved in overseas transactions.

On-line Visa or MasterCard payments.
On-line transactions are processed via the SSL secure server.
Bookings are processed within 24 hours from the moment the payment authorization is received, if not on the week-end or holidays. Those received on weekend or holidays are processed the first working day after.

Mail-order Visa or MasterCard payments
Should you wish to use the mail-order option, please, specify it in your request for booking. We will send you the invoice for the requested arrangements and corresponding credit card payment form for completing and faxing back to us with your credit card copy - front and back sides.
Bookings are processed within 24 hours from the moment the payment authorization is received, if not on the week-end or holidays. Those received on weekend or holidays are processed the first working day after.

We reserve the right to request documents copies and/or written applications in accordance with Raiffeisen Bank Aval requirements or recommendations.

Bank transfer payment option is available only for travel agents which make bookings with us regularly. Bank transfers can be settled in UAH, USD or Euro.

 
Billing

Payment cards are billed after and only after the bookings are completed. Transportation costs are billed after tickets, transfers etc. are booked. Accommodation costs are billed within 14 days prior to the hotel check-in, except for hotels in the Crimea. The latter is billed 21 days prior to the hotel check-in.

 
Cancellations And Refunds

For canceling travel arrangements, please, e-mail or fax to us. The reception of cancellation will be confirmed within 24 hours from the moment your message is received, if not on the week-end or holiday. Messages received on week-ends or holidays are processed the first working day after.

Please, note if you have received no confirmation within this term it means we have not received your message. When making cancellations, please, make sure the information is received.

Please note: Unipress is not liable for any cancellation processing or refunds if cancellation notices are not forwarded directly to Unipress.

Hotels
Hotel cancellations made at 21 days or prior notice are usually subject to full hotel cost refund. For later cancellations, fees depend on the hotel cancellation policy solely.
Hotels in the Crimea might charge their cancellation fee of 1 night stay cost already at 21 days cancellation notice.
However, cancelling your hotel in other regions at least 5 days prior to the hotel check-in date you can be sure that cancellation fee would not exceed one night stay cost.
In case of cancellation or alteration, Unipress hotel booking fee of USD 10 is applicable.

Air tickets
Air tickets refund policy depends on the Air company solely.
Please note: for cancellation processing tickets should be received by Unipress office 10 days prior to the flight or earlier. 
Only having the tickets, we can make the cancellation and process the refund.

If necessary to cancel air tickets when traveling in Ukraine, please, make sure to put the cancellation mark on the tickets at the nearest airport ticketing office and send the tickets to Unipress by registered mail. Refund deadlines are usually limited within one-month term after the flight date.

Unipress air tickets booking fee is non-refundable.

Train tickets
Starting from July 15, 2006 Unipress processes train tickets refunds. 
50% of the train ticket cost is refunded, provided one the following conditions is met:

  • Tickets should be received by Unipress office no later than 10 days prior to the train trip. Only having the tickets we can make the cancellation and process the refund.

  • If necessary to cancel train tickets when traveling in Ukraine, please make sure to get the cancellation documents (blue tickets) at the nearest train station office no later than 72 hours prior to the train trip. The tickets and cancellation documents should be sent to Unipress by registered mail. Refund deadlines are not specified by the railroad. Therefore it is advisable to send the documents right after the cancellation.

Airport/train station pick ups
These services can be cancelled at three working days notice and the cost will be refunded in full.

Intercity car transfers, guide, excursion and other services
These services can be cancelled at three working days notice and the cost will be refunded less out Unipress arrangement fee of USD 10 per each service.

 
Liability

Unipress is responsible for completing bookings in accurate and timely manner and guarantees the delivery of services and costs according paid amounts.

Unipress has no control over standards or quality of services provided by hotels and transport agents as well as flight or other transportation cancellations or delays.
It is client's responsibility to reach on time the hotels, airports, railway/bus stations, seaports for booked voyages.

Unipress is not responsible for delivery service delays or non-deliveries and any consequences it might result in. Unipress liability is limited by mail services’ liabilities, their service terms and conditions.

We do our best to provide accurate information on hotels and transport amenities and quality. If an issue arises when staying at a hotel and it cannot be resolved with the hotel directly, please, contact us before you check-out from the hotel. We will do our best to find the solution with the service provider. Please, note we are not able to affect the situation after the hotel check-out.

 
Privacy And Confidentiality

All booking data, personal data, payment cards information is kept confidential and is not disclosed to the third parties. Please, note inquiries made by the third parties about your bookings will not be answered, unless you instruct us to do so. In case, you wish to have someone follow up your bookings for you, please, inform us about his/her name and e-mail address.
