Odessa has extraordinary architectural ensembles, beautiful promenades, and interesting monuments. It also has a special charm of a maritime city, a spirit and liberty of Porto Franco. You will step on the famous Potemkin Stairs, look at, so dear to every Odessan, monument to Duke De Richelieu, stop by the beautiful Opera and Ballet House, adore exquisite architecture of the Philharmonic Hall, enjoy observing the Vorontsov Palace, mark the Deribasovskaya Street on your map for future visits and buy some souvenirs at the Artisan Market on the Cathedral Square.

Thank you for all your help regarding my visit to the Ukraine. It was indeed a wonderful trip, even without hot water. I was sad to leave and look forward to returning.

I found the area surrounding Kyiv to be very beautiful. The people in Kyiv were very friendly and I have told my friends that the Ukrainian people are a very proud and kind people.

I took many photos and have placed them on our college's intranet for others to see. I believe I have more than 500 photos to distribute. I have attached several for you.

My friend, Natalyia, took me many places in Kyiv and Uman. I viewed Independence Center, St. Sophia Cathedral, St. Michael's Cathedral, our hotel was close to St. Andrew's church, I got to view the World War II war memorial, the Afghanistan War memorial, and many more wonderful sites.

Oksana, I believe you have a wonderful country and am happy I had an opportunity to visit, and look forward to visiting again, maybe Odessa next time. I heard much about your city also.

Again, thank you for your help, and please feel free to contact me if there is anything that I could do for Unipress.

Sincerely,

Dan, USA
