On the Ankudinov Island there is a monument of the Zero Kilometer Mark which symbolically flags the mouth of the Danube River on the Ukrainian territory. And though the actual Kilometre Zero belongs to Romania the place has become really popular among tourists. Either for a pleasant boat ride to the island, or for numerous tales this monument is referred, there are few visitors who could help not touching, climbing, picturing with the monument which according to the tales promises various benefits – from adding another zero in the end of the sum in one’s paycheck to soon-to-be rounded bellies of young childless wives in newly married couples.
I have returned from a wonderful trip to your country! It was a pleasure to do business with you and I look forward to working with you again for a return trip next spring or summer. The man you sent to pick me up at the airport (Alex) was extremely helpful and very nice. He took the time to show me around and gave some good advice. I really had fun in Lugansk, the people really know how to party! I made many new friends and everybody was friendly and warm.
